【摘要】:Foilinthicknessofabout0.002in.(0.05mm)andheavierisvirtuallyfreeofpinholes.Withdecreaseinthickness,thenumberofpinholesmayincrease.Thismethodisprovidedtodevelopandmaintainuniformityinthemethodsofevaluatingpinholesinaluminumfoil.Thepinholedataprovidesassessmentsofprocesscapabilityandqualitylevelsofthefoilaswell.1.1Thismethodcoverstheidentificationandcountingofpinholes,includingrollholes,inplainfoilusingalighttable,andinspectorwithnormal20/20orcorrected20/20vision,andadarkenedinspectionarea.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thismethodmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operations,andequipment.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
