【摘要】:ThisStandardprovidesperformanceandsafetyrequirementsforriveting,scaling,andtinner'ssettinghammersthatareusedinspecificapplications.(a)Rivetinghammers:Intendedspecificallyfordriving,spreading,andsettingunhardenedrivetsinhardenedmaterials(alsocalledtinner'sormachinist'srivetinghammers).(b)Scalinghammers:Intendedspecificallyforremovingscale,paint,weldingflux,rust,orothersimilarflakingmaterialfromthesurfaceofunhardenedmetal(alsocalledchippinghammers).(c)Tinner'ssettinghammers:Intendedspecificallyforclosing,forming,andpeeningsheetmetal(alsocalledpeeninghammers).ThisStandardisalsointendedtoserveasaguideforthedevelopmentofmanualsandpostersandfortrainingpersonneltoworksafely.ThisStandardmaybeusedasaguidebystateauthoritiesorotherregulatorybodiesintheformulationoflawsorregulations.Itisalsointendedforthevoluntaryusebyestablishmentsthatuseormanufacturethetoolscovered.ThemethodsemployedtoensurecompliancewiththisStandardshallbedeterminedbytheproperregulatoryoradministrativeauthority.
