【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofoilandgreaseandnonpolarmaterialinwaterandwastewaterbyaninfrared(IR)determinationofdimer/trimerofchlorotrifluoroethylene(S-316)extractablesubstancesfromanacidifiedsample.Includedinthisestimationofoilandgreaseareanyothercompoundssolubleinthesolvent.Themethodisapplicabletomeasurementofthelightfuelalthoughlossofsomelightendsduringextractioncanbeexpected.ThismethoddefinesoilandgreaseinwaterandwastewaterasthatwhichisextractableinthetestmethodandmeasuredbyIRabsorptionat2930cm-or3.4microns.Similarly,thistestmethoddefinesnonpolarmaterialinwaterandwastewaterasthatoilandgreasewhichisnotadsorbedbysilicagelinthetestmethodandmeasuredbyIRabsorptionat2930cm-.Thismethodcoverstherangeof5to100mg/Landmaybeextendedtoalowerorhigherlevelbyextractionofalargerorsmallersamplevolumecollectedseparately.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddetermine(D3856GuideforGoodLaboratoryPractices)theapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
