【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversrequirementsforelectrodepositedcoatingsofsilverusedforengineeringpurposesthatmaybemat,bright,orsemibrightandarenotlessthan98%silverpurity.1.2Coatingsofsilvercoveredbythisspecificationareusuallyemployedforsolderablesurfaces,electricalcontactcharacteristics,highelectricalandthermalconductivity,thermocompressionbonding,wearresistanceofload-bearingsurfaces,andspectralreflectivity.1.3IntheAppendixesimportantcharacteristicsofelectrodepositedsilvercoatingsarebrieflydescribedwhichmustbeconsideredwhenusedinengineeringapplications,namelyelectricalconductivity(seeAppendixX1),silvermigration(seeAppendixX2),thickness(seeAppendixX3),hardness(seeAppendixX4),andatmospherictarnish(seeAppendixX5).1.4Thefollowinghazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodssectionofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
