【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiesrequirementsforconstructionandperformance,anddescribesmethodsoftest,forarmoured,fire?resistantcableswiththermosettinginsulationandofratedvoltage600/1000Vandlowemissionofsmokeandcorrosivegaseswhenaffectedbyfire.Thecircuitintegrityperformanceunderfireconditionsisassessedonthebasisofvarioustestswhicheitherseparatelymeasureresistancetofire,resistancetofirewithwaterspray,andresistancetofirewithmechanicalshock(CategoryF2)orincombinationmeasureresistancetofirewithdirectmechanicalimpactandwaterjet(CategoriesF30,F60andF120).Cablesspecifiedinthisstandardareintendedforuseinfixedinstallationsinindustrialareas,buildingsandsimilarapplications,wheremaintenanceofpowersupplyduringafireisrequiredforadefinedperiodoftime.NOTE1Attentionisdrawntothefactthattheabilityofagivencabletomeetaparticularcategoryinthisstandardrefersonlytothetestconditionsstated,andthelevelofperformanceachievedinaparticularinstallationcanbeinfluencedbyactualinstallationconditions.CablescoveredbythisstandardhavelimitedevolutionofsmokeandcorrosivegaseswhenassessedunderthefireconditionsasspecifiedinBSEN61034-2andBSEN50267-2-1.Inthisstandard,thelevelofcorrosive(andacid)gasesisdeterminedbymeasurementofhydrochloricacid(HCl)inaccordancewithBSEN50267-2-1.Theinsulationandothercomponentsaresuitabletopermitoperationofthecablesatamaximumsustainedconductortemperatureof90°Candforamaximumshort-circuitconductortemperatureof250°C.NOTE2Limitationonthetemperatureofthecablesmaybeimposedinsituationswheretheymaybetouched.NOTE3Duetotherelativelyhighconductortemperature,thereisariskofdryingoutthesurroundingsoilcausinganincreaseinthermalresistivitywhichinturnwouldleadtothecabletemperaturerisingtoahighervaluethananticipated.Forcablelaiddirectlyintheground,asuitablede-ratingfactorshouldbeappliedoralowermaximumsustainedconductoroperatingtemperatureshouldbeassumedtotakeintoaccountthepossibleeffectsofsoildryingout.NOTE4Ininstallationswhichincludecablejointsandterminations,theperformanceoftheseaccessoriesshouldbetakenintoaccountindecidingthemaximumoperatingtemperatureofthecable.Thecablesspecifiedinthestandardareeithersteelwirearmouredorinterlockedsteeltapearmouredandsheathed,asfollows:a)two-,three-,four-andfive-corestrandedcopperconductor;b)multicoreauxiliarystrandedcopperconductor.AnnexAgivesrecommendationsfortheselectionandoperationofcableswhilerecommendationsfortheinstallationofcablesaregiveninAnnexB.AnnexCliststheinformationthatshouldbegivenwithanenquiryororder.
