【摘要】:Providesthemeanstocalculateatmosphericabsorptionlossesofsoundfromanysourceforawiderangeofmeteorologicalconditions.Theatmosphereisassumedtobestill,homogeneousmoistairofnormalcomposition.Non-homogeneousatmospheresmaybedividedintohorizontallayerswithinwhichhomogeneousconditionsmaybeassumed.Attenuationcoefficientsforpure-tonesoundsarecalculatedbyoverrangesoffrequency,andthehumidity,pressure,andtemperatureoftheatmosphere.Forsoundsanalyzedbyfractional-octave-bandfiltersalternativemethodsareprovided.
